For those of us raised in Kansas, enjoying a beautiful sunset is something that is common place. Un-obstructive views, and endless sky’s make for "day dreams come true", and "wishing stars answered".

Kansas’ slogan is “As big as you think”, this couldn’t be any more descriptive, and true. Most likely the slogan was the imagination of a life long Kansan. You see in Kansas you have the time to relax, and imagine this sort of creativity. Much as the case was 200 years ago across America, when inventors, artist and children alike worked hard days and dreamed to the stars at night. These same possibilities remain in Kansas, as time has changed everything, except for having the time to dream.

In every corner of Kansas from Liberal, Goodland, Kansas City, and Columbus there is Midwest hospitality exemplified. It’s something that our parents taught us, and our parents, parents taught them, only in Kansas these lessons have not been forgotten. Maybe it’s because Kansas is for the most part still vastly rural, and we are easily reminded of these values. All one has to do is take a short drive outside the city limits to get a reminder of what Kansas is truly about.
