Having visited many great seafood restaurants around Kansas City, I have become accustomed to delicious fresh catch seafood. In KC many have a pre-disposed idea that beef is the main coarse. Well, there could be some truth to this notion, considering KC makes claim to being the mecca of Beef & BBQ. No doubt that conception was born from the cattle town image of long ago.
Kansas City is proud of it’s roots and heritage as a cattle town, but seafood has become a landmark of cuisine in KC. One such seafood landmark is McCormick & Schmick’s on the Country Club Plaza. If you have never visited McCormick & Schmick’s, we would highly recommend indulging in world class seafood with an atmosphere to match. When my family visits Kansas City, we always try to make this part of our plans.
If you’re looking for Sushi then we would suggest visiting Stix Restaurant in Legends Shopping Center. Located within Village West by Kansas Speedway, Stix is a leading sushi restaurant in KC. Their combination of Traditional Japanese Sushi, and Asian stir fry cooking makes for a great meal and entertainment to boot!
