Here is a list of KCK Fun's top 10 places in KCK.
So you’ve made it to KCK and you’re looking for great family fun. Let’s take a tour of all the awesome things to do in Kansas City. Read our list below!

10). The first place on our list is a Kansas City landmark and a must see when visiting here.
Kaw Point Park is one of my favorite places in Kansas City. Located at the confluence of the Kansas and Missouri Rivers, this is where Lewis & Clark stayed, regrouped and began their Northward journey to the Pacific Ocean. When visiting here you can get a feel for what it must have been like 200 years ago. An awesome experience for the young and old alike.

9). The Strawberry Hill Museum is a great place to visit in Kansas City. This museum contains information and artifacts of early Kansas City. This ethnic museum exhibits the history that made Kansas City what it is today. The early immigrants of KCK exemplified what it means to work hard for the greater cause of their fellow man. Strawberry Hill is Kansas City' heart and soul.

8). The Children's Museum of Kansas City provides interactive hands-on exhibits geared for children ages 2-8. The Museum provides an enjoyable learning experience that allows children to explore their world. In addition to the exhibits, the Museum also offers a variety of fun and educational programs for varies age levels. If you have young Children, be sure to visit the Children’s Museum in KCK, it’s a guaranteed good time.

7). The Moon Marble Company in Bonner Springs is creativity at its best. What kid doesn’t like marbles? How about watching an actual marble being made. Now that’s definitely something you don't get to see everyday. One great thing about The Moon Marble Company is that you can watch how a marble is being made from close up. Watching the kids eyes light up with excitement will melt your heart every time. Be sure to be prepared for many questions after your visit. This place will bring out everyone’s imagination. Great experience for all ages too!

6). Wyandotte County Lake reminds me of Table Rock Lake, except there are no huge boats stirring up the water. This wonderful lake has great fishing year round with an awesome marina to rent small fishing boats. “Dot” lake reminds me of the Ozarks with the winding hilly roads, and clear water. If you want a nice place to have a picnic lunch then this is the perfect spot. Don’t forget to take the kids on a train ride when you come.

5). National Agriculture Hall Of Fame is sure to please all ages. Started by an act of the 86 Congress and President Dwight D. Eisenhower the agriculture center helps educated people of it’s importance. The National Ag Center enlightens youth and adults alike of farming heritage. If you want to learn about how farmers work, and where are produce comes from, then I would highly recommend this spectacular place.

4). Cabela’s in Village West is an awesome place to get all your fun out-door gear. This hunting, fishing, and camping supplier has made a huge impact on KC and the surrounding area. Their giant store is almost like a sportsman’s museum. There are life like exhibits of Animals in their natural surroundings. Not only can you get stuff for the sportsman, you can also have a great lunch too. And if you're looking for a boat, well Cabela’s has plenty of those as well. This store is one of my kids favorite destinations. There is a world class aquarium which is home to fish of many species. We love to come here and watch fish that you rarely get to see up close. If you’re planning a visit to KCK be sure to include this “Dot” favorite.

3). The Great Wolf Lodge will bring out the kid in all of us. If you’re looking for the ultimate in water fun then make sure you stay at the Great Wolf Lodge. Their spectacular water slides will have you laughing and playing right alongside the kids. The first time we went as a family, I believe my wife and I went up and down the slides more than the kids. The whole experience is something you won't soon forget. Not only is this a wonderful water park, it’s also a very nice hotel too. There is a game room and restaurants inside the hotel as well. When you visit The Great Wolf Lodge be prepared to not act your age. A fun time is something you surely will have.
2). Kansas Speedway is the ultimate in fast fun. Kansas Speedway is home to two Nascar events annually. There are other events during the off season too, like the Boat and RV show of Kansas City. Kansas Speedway also offers race fans the chance to drive an actual race car This is something you race fans need to experience, if for any reason to see what those race car drivers endure every Nascar race. Kansas Speedway has changed the Skyline in KCK, and brought an all new meaning to fun and entertainment in Kansas City.

1) Legends Shopping Centre is an outdoor lifestyle mall, with unique shops and lots of entertainment venues for all ages. Located in Village West this sprawling complex will keep you entertained for hours. There is so much to do here it will probably take you at least two days to see it all. During the day you can shop at some of the best stores in Kansas City, then at night be sure to watch a T-bones baseball game before you head out for an awesome evening of adult fun. Legends offers many types of unique bars and restaurants that are unprecedented for this region. The entire experience is flowing with originality. No where in this region can you do so much with no need for driving. If you’re planning a visit to Kansas City, why not stay in KCK!.
